Pakistani mulberries are sweet with a just a hint of tartness which perfectly balances out their flavor profile. Mulberries are composed of multiple smaller drupelets clustered together on a central stem called a receptacle. The elongated fruits of the Pakistani variety are around 7cm in length, and it is one of the largest mulberry varieties. Mulberries ripen to a ruby to a dark purple color and an almost black hue when they are the sweetest.
